We pick you up from your hotel or a meeting point by car. On our way towards Vardia (Malaštica) enjoy the scenic drive only 15 minutes from Dubrovnik. Upon arrival under foothill of Vardia we continue walking down to first terrace where we groove sesonal vegetables and fruits, after village visit we continue hiking to biggest vineyard trough old oak and cypress forest. You can expect 15 minutes easy hiking surrounded with beautiful Mediterranean greenery and spectacular views above Župa Dubrovačka and Adriatic sea.
Welcome drink as homemade spirit with local herbs flavor or sweet walnut liquor waits you on the top. After small break presentation starts. Learn how to cultivate olives in the biggest classroom in the world – open air nature surroundings of Dubrovnik.
We will demonstrate cultivating techniques we have collected from generation to generation and years of education including time spent in the fields. You will touch and feel olive leaves and branches while you enjoy fresh air and calm surroundings. Of course olive oil tasting is included.
